Inspired by his daughters, author and illustrator Andrew Lueck found the inspiration needed to bring his everyday sketchbook characters to life in Chicabee. Whether walking through the rain, ordering a double, short, no foam hot chocolate, or riding her bike around the lake, Chicabee finds her way through the Emerald City making the most of everyday. Along the way readers will also meet Little-O, Chicabee's fearless little sister who also happens to love circles and the letter O. Readers will also be introduced to Yappy the lap dog who is always willing to voice his opinion, usually in the form of a "Yap, yap!" And don't forget Sparkle the cat, with expensive taste and a flavor for anything shiny, he prides himself as a snazzy cat with the finest collar around his neck.
