Description
An unusual fable with an unforgettable ending. Benjamin is a young boy growing up in Jerusalem at the time of the birth of Christ. Born without legs, he lives in the shadow of his older brother, a powerful soldier of Herod's host, and the active life of the boys around him. While he sells his wooden carvings on the streets of Jerusalem and dreams of a pair of wooden legs, he keeps the words of his mother in his mind: "You may not be able to lift great physical burdens for others, but you can lift the heavy burdens of their hearts".
