Insert the tension knobs into the gate frame, and turn to tighten the tension knobs until it is fitted evenly and securely into place. It can be used at the top of the stairs with the included hardware mounts for added security. The ava security gate is designed to fit doorways, hallways, and other openings between 29.5 and 39.5 inches wide using the included extensions.
