Tabriz rugs are among the most beautiful and legendary carpets ever created. Many rugs produced in the city of Tabriz attempt to follow the incredible artistry of the Persian Safavid rugs. Tabriz managed to keep these ancient traditions alive in the city and the villages surrounding it in the East Azerbaijan province of Iran.
