After extensively and evenly applying Crackle Effect to your primed and painted surface, the distressing (cracking) process will begin to occur. For finest crackling results, apply to a completely dry base coat. If base coat is still wet when Crackle Effect is applied, the crackling effect will expand to a larger scale.
