After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration, Moira Chocolate relocated to Vermont to work as a staff artist and designer at Wild Apple. Her personal style is quirky, cute, and fun, with an emphasis on bold lines and texture using gouache, ink, and digital media. She is inspired by Andy Warhol's early advertising work, and the flat, graphic qualities in the works of Charley Harper and Alphonse Mucha. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame.
