Description

This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features an abstract rendering of three men working in a factory. Clive Gardiner was an influential British designer and teacher. Elements of Cubism and Futurism found expression in his striking posters, for which he is probably best known. He also illustrated a number of books, including 'Leaves in the Wind' (1919). Gardiner taught art at Goldsmith's College School of Art from 1929. He became its Principal in 1952. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Trademark Fine Art Size: 22" H x 32" W x 2" D
