This winch has a sturdy steel housing and it's components and features a shorter rope drum for tight applications paired with a high speed 55' per minute line speed. This winch will keep you in the race with it's 75' premium synthetic rope and includes a CNC machined aluminum hawse fairlead. The 8288 Comp Winch includes a thermal limiting switch to prevent overheating and a green LED feedback light to indicate when it's safe to restart the winch. This winch has a sealed, 500 amp contactor, automatic mechanical load holding brake, and free spooling clutch, and includes an ergonomic hand control with a 12' lead.
