The JAWS RailFin supports 1/4″ (50 mm) wide flat rolled steel screed. Minimum height using a 1/4” x 2-1/2” flat rolled steel bar from the bottom of the JAWS RailFin chair to the finished elevation of concrete is 4-1/4” (108 mm).The “fins” inside the screed chair hugs rebar, threaded rod, conduit, metal stakes, or PVC pipe from 3/8" (10mm) to 5/8" (16mm.) The JAWS RailFin holds up to 1,000 lbs making it the most versatile screed support available..The goal-post design chair works with the MAKO Driver for accurate elevation control of concrete slabs and structural elements for a fast and easy setup..The stay-in-place forms are designed to stay in the slab and are corrosion resistant, even in extreme environments.
