Construction: The Galapagos has been carefully thought out. We wanted to create a tarp that was designed for hammock camping, but could be used for so much more. We knew that to fully enjoy the FE Active Trestles Hammock you needed a way to stay dry during unfavorable conditions. We solved this by creating a rainfly made of 380T ripstop nylon fabric and then coating it with 5000mm PU (waterproofing), making it our most waterproof product to date. Reinforced edges and corners help protect the rainfly from ripping in windy conditions. Six grommets are found along the edges, allowing you to install this tarp in a variety of ways. Rope and aluminum pegs are included to provide everything you need right out of the box - or the bag in this case. Dimensions: Built with ultralight campers and travelers in mind, the Galapagos is made to be as compact and portable as possible, while still providing ample space during use. Although this tarp was designed for hammock camping, the dimensions are suitable to cover tents of 4 people or less.
