The Stahl Tools DDSS Digital Display Soldering Station is designed for production soldering that meets the daily demands of the electronics professional. It features a 48 watt ceramic heating element with a 3-1/2 ft. power cord that can heat up quickly to 400Degree C.With a super-slim ESD safe pencil iron tip that measures 3', and a 4-1/2' handle, you can work confidently on or around sensitive components. The ceramic ringed stand can be attached to the base or detached if space is limited. Temperature control up/down buttons provide precision heat management. Operating temperature is shown on the 2-1/4' x 1-1/8' LCD display. Tip Replacement and Dressing: Tip replacement should always be done only when the iron is at room temperature. The tip can be changed or replaced simply by unscrewing the knurled nut from the barrel assembly. The station must be switched off and allowed to cool before and during this operation, as damage may result if the system is left on without the tip installed
