Carbon Fiber Leg ConstructionThe carbon fiber construction of the legs makes them very lightweight and extremely durable. The legs also feature a variety of adjustability options, depending on your use of the tripod. The low-profile quarter-turn twist-lock legs at the bottom of the tripod allow you to adjust the height of the tripod, in 3 sections. Allowing for multiple heights and a secure setup. The bottoms of the tripod legs are rubberized non-slip grip, so they have a firm grip on the ground surface where it is placed. Three-angle leg pivot locks and Counterweight hookAt the top of the tripod, there is a 3-angle leg pivot that allows you to adjust the angle the legs are placed. At the center of the tripod is a counterweight hook which allows you to attach a weight to it. Doing so will lower the Ridgeview carbon's center of gravity while increasing its stability in windy conditions.
