The tool’s large metal turn knob offers sufficient leverage for spring compression, and the spring-loaded offset jaw design compensates for spring wind to keep the compressor level on valve spring retainers during compression..APPLICATION: This compressor makes valve spring installation simple, without needing to remove the cylinder head from the engine. Thanks to its adjustable design, the tool is compatible with valve spring retainers up to 1.32 inches in diameter.
