The installation is permanent, but the minimalistic design provides a very stable base with a small 6.25 inch x 6.25 inch footprint which is a fraction of traditional weighted umbrella bases. The Ground Anchor is compatible with all round pole market umbrellas with poles up to 2.25" in diameter and the set includes two umbrella sleeves (1.5 inch and 2 inch) for a better fit with smaller umbrellas. Also can be used as a ground anchor for sunshade or light string support poles so you can upgrade your outdoor living area.
