Description
Cardboard cutout of Edward IV, King of England, Lord of Ireland. He was King during the Wars of the Roses, numerous civil wars fought between Lancastrian and Yorkist factions in England. He defeated Lancastrian armies at Towton and Mortimer's Cross in early 1461 and deposed King Henry VI and took his throne. In 1470, a revolt led to a brief re-installment of Henry VI. Edward fled and gathered support for an invasion of England in 1471, and after victorious battle, he resumed the throne on April 14. Dimensions are 77x23 inches.
