In order to qualify for a DP 45 rating, our doors were subjected to extreme testing conditions that simulate hurricane force winds up to 150 mph. Our doors also qualify for TDI (Texas department of insurance). Adjustable sill threshold and fully weather-stripped primed jambs make installation fast and easy. Doors are pre-bored 5-1/2 inch on center with 2-3/8 in backset ready for lock-set and deadbolt door jamb constructed with a 2 coat primed wood and three 4 inch steel ball-bearing hinges applied. Warranty requires unfinished doors must be finished on all six sides upon removal from their original packaging and prior to installation with an oil-based polyurethane or marine varnish topcoat if painting is preferred only use a quality exterior paint with a minimum of 2 coats of paint.
