As of 2023, he ranked in the top five in franchise history in wins, strikeouts and games started. Prior to the 2020 season, Cole signed a franchise record nine-year deal with the Yankees. He won the AL Cy Young Award in 2023 after recording a 15-4 record, 2.63 ERA and two shutouts over 209 innings pitched. In addition to the Cy Young, Cole accumulated three All-Star selections and three All-MLB selections during his first four years with the franchise.
