The Star Wars universe might not be what it is today without the assistance of Kurtz. After glimpsing the talents of George Lucas while producing American Graffiti in 1973, Kurtz continued to collaborate with Lucas on his next film, A New Hope, then just known as Star Wars. After the film proved to be a worldwide success, Kurtz produced The Empire Strikes Back as well. Outside of Lucas' films, Kurtz served as a producer on The Dark Crystal, The Thief and the Cobbler and The Steal. This hand-signed card is authenticated by Beckett and graded 10 for its pristine, clearly visible autograph.
