Description

Take your St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia collection to another level with this baseball signed and inscribed by Albert Pujols. Whether displayed in your home or office, there's no better way to commemorate one of the greatest Cardinals of all time. The Dominican-American first baseman was selected by St. Louis in the 13th round of the 1999 MLB Draft. Two years later, Pujols unanimously won National League Rookie of the Year after leading the team in home runs and setting a rookie league record for runs batted in. "The Machine" finished top-five in MVP voting and earned an All-Star invitation in nine of his 11 initial season in St. Louis. He received the MVP award in 2005, 2008 and 2009, and helped the Cardinals win the World Series in 2006 and 2011. Following that second championship, Pujols signed a 10-year contract with the L.A. Angels then had a brief tenure with the Dodgers before returning to St. Louis for the 2022 season, which he planned to be the last of his career. In his final season, Pujols became the 10th player in MLB history to play 3,000 games and moved into ninth on the all-time hits list. Only Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Alex Rodriquez have hit more major league home runs than the Cardinals legend.
