Eaton Arc Fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) use advanced electronic technology to reduce fire hazards in electrical circuits, the breakers meet NEC and UL 1669 requirements for safety. This combination type includes all of the protection of a standard breaker, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5 amps to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets. Enhanced electronics to reduce unwanted tripping from non-compliant devices. Compact design for easier wiring and improved wire way access. Mounting type is standard pigtail. The 15 and 20 amp breakers can be used for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment applications. Compatible for use in Eaton BR, Westinghouse, Challenger and Bryant load centers.
