Description

From laps at our favorite downhill tracks to shredding our way through more primitive trails, with the Rocky Mountain Altitude, the sky's the limit. The Altitude is Rocky Mountain's enduro race bike and sits on 160mm of Smoothlink suspension, which rides high in its travel, has a supportive mid-stroke, and stiff bottom-out protection so we can send it harder than we have before. The Altitude is equipped with Rocky Mountain's Ride-9 adjustment system, which gives us nine different settings to customize our frame geometry to suit our riding style best. In the neutral setting, the Altitude features a 65-degree head tube angle for the perfect balance of confidence in steep terrain and precise handling on flatter trails. A 76-degree seat tube angle positions us upright and over the pedals to ensure we have an efficient position to tackle technical climbs, and the long wheelbase gives us extra stability in steeper terrain. The Altitude features a 2-position chainstay adjustment to give us the ability to make our chainstays longer or shorter for more stability or agility, while size-specific tunes ensure that every sized frame and rider have the same performance and optimal ride feel. For the finishing touches, the Altitude is fitted with a downtube and chainstay protectors to protect our frame, and a shuttle guard allows us to drive to the trailhead worry-free. The Carbon 70 build of the Rocky Mountain Altitude comes complete with high-level components with a trusted reputation. First up, Rocky Mountain's Smoothwall carbon frame optimizes its stiffness-to-weight ratio to give us premium ride quality and a lightweight frame. Next, Shimano's 12-speed XT drivetrain provides us with a wide range, ensuring we have the perfect gear for any technical climb. Four-piston Shimano XT brakes have an excellent lever feel and offer tons of power on tap, while the Race Face AR 30 rims are fitted with a DT Swiss 370 hub in the rear, giving us a quality performance that can be upg...
