The obverse displays the harp, the national symbol of Ireland. The Irish penny was minted from 1971 to 2000. The reverse displays the image of a peacock designed by Gabriel Hayes. The Irish Three Pence was minted from 1928 to 1968. The reverse features the hare designed by Percy Metcalfe. The coins are matted in a table top black wood desk frame measuring approximately 7 by 9 inches.
