The Monarch Butterfly Mix includes Butterfly Milkweed Asclepias tuberosa, which is used exclusively throughout the Monarch Butterfly to lay their eggs on the plant. The other 12 varieties are beneficial for fully mature pollinators, but the Milkweed is intended for adult Monarchs to keep their eggs safe until hatching. Wildflower mixes are best if broadcasted freely into any wide open growing space with full sun to partial shade. Lightly rake and tamp seeds into soil.
