Do not plug the light fixture into an electrical socket until the bulb is fastened firmly to the fixture. Place the light fixture outside the habitat. Never place the light fixture inside the habitat, as a hot light bulb can harm your pet. Advice for use: It is recommended to replace your UVB bulb every 6-8 months and your basking bulb as needed. Use these bulbs with the appropriate Thrive lamp fixture. Choose light bulb and wattage based on species, size of habitat, and environmental temperatures.
