Each piece is unique, and hand finished and sealed with olive oil. All of our Olive Wood products are slowly kiln dried at low heat levels for 15 to 20 days, to lower the moisture content and reduce the chance of cracking over time. All of our Olive Wood products are slowly kiln dried at low heat levels for 15 to 20 days, to reduce the moisture content to reduce the chance of cracking over time..✔️ CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Upon receipt of your piece, please apply a liberal coat of olive oil, let stand briefly and wipe excess with a soft cloth or paper towel, to correct for surface drying during shipping and warehouse storage time. After each use, gently hand wash with soft sponge & warm water, dry gently. Wipe occasionally with olive or mineral oil to restore the natural grain and prevent drying. Do not place in dishwasher, soak in water, or leave in direct sun, near any source of heat..✔️ DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATE. Dimensions, shape, grain, color and natural flaws may vary with each piece due to natural features of the aged olive trees, and because each piece is carved by hand.
