The Big Fish Tackle Tarpon Leader is built to deliver big, heavy flies right where you need them, even through windy conditions. This saltwater leader is tough enough to handle one of the hardest-fighting fish you'll find thanks to 30" of ferruled line made up of 2 strands of monofilament paired with 18" of single-strand hard monofilament via a Bimini twist knot. The ferruled portion features 3.3 twists per inch, while the Bimini has 2 to 3 wraps and 25 to 30 tight-touching wraps. The single-strand mono is doubled and connected by back-to-back Uni Knots to maximize energy transmission.
