Description
The Mr. Scrappy disposer dual outlet air switch is used to operate a food waste disposer and one other item such as a hot water dispenser or trash compactor. The outlets are turned on and off by air pressure created by pushing the button. The air travels from the button, through the air tube which is connected to the air switch inside the electrical box. One outlet has power at a time. The air switch alternates outlets in order to prevent a breaker blowout that can occur when powering on 2 items at the same time that exceed your circuit breaker’s maximum amperage. The air switch button can be installed through the sink top, the counter top, or inside the cabinet.
