The Solid Mount is a Grab Bar Mounting Kit used to install a grab bar in a Fiberglass Shower. Grab Bar Not Included. Made in The U.S.A..1 Set Required per grab bar. Opt for a standard grab bar featuring a 2 1/2" or 3" flange. If you choose a grab bar with a 2 1/2" flange, expect to see a white 1/4" ring of The Solid Mount after installation. The installation process typically takes around 1 hour. Grab Bar Not Included.According to grab bar manufacturers, the metal flange on the grab bars is specifically sized to cover their mounting brackets and screws, without accommodating any additional brackets. This limitation is attributed to the depth of the flange as designed by the manufacturer. The Solid Mount in most cases will show on the edges and the final chaulking will cover that when installed per our instructions..The Solid Mount only works on wood-framed buildings with Fiberglass or Acrylic Showers.
