Solid Brass Mallets strike a clear, clean, and precise sound; ideal for more volume and a bright tone when playing metal instruments.WHERE TO USE: made for orchestra bells, bell tree, crotales and other metal effects; not for use on wood instruments like marimba or wood block as the hard brass head will damage the wood.ONE BIG THING: please check our other mallets for uses where you need a soft, mellow tone like steel tongue drum, marimba, log drum, or rosewood; the Timber Drum Co.
