Animal Health Prestige Tetanus Vaccine has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy horses, cattle, swine and sheep 6 months of age or older against tetanus. This tetanus vaccine for cattle is a core vaccine and should be administered annually. The horse tetanus vaccine may be used with pregnant mares and injured horses. Horse tetanus vaccine is a core vaccine, recommended by AAEP for all horses, every year according to AAEP Core Vaccine Guidelines Use this tetanus vaccine for cattle annually (usually in spring) Use with pregnant mares 4-6 weeks prior to foaling according to AAEP Core Vaccine Guidelines Use with injured horses (wounds, surgery, etc.) if last dose wasn't administered within 6 months Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter
