It sits flush with the walnut lip so that the board can be hung on the wall.High Quality Craftsmanship: The Mountie crokinole board is made out of 3/4 inch solid walnut for the base with solid maple for the side rails. The joinery is traditional like boards from the past. The base is biscuit-cut and then glued and screwed together to create a really strong board.Included with the Mountie Board: 26 large black and natural wood discs, a disc pouch, 100 grams of fast crokinole powder, a 20's cup, and playing instructions / rules.
