Anadol rugs are handmade by semi-nomadic tribes who live along the Anatolian Mediterranean coast. Wool and locally produced natural dyes are used in their weaving. Predominant colors used are bright red, indigo blue, beige, camel and to a lesser degree white. The designs used have representations of flowers, ears of grain and stylized animal and human figures. These bold oriental tribal designs will inspire a variety of interiors – from traditional and contemporary to southwestern decors.
