This ready-to-hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a painterly depiction of a home. I am a true lover of nature and of everything gentle. My landscapes and houses combine reality and imagination. First, I store in my mind all the views that I find interesting. Later, when I need a subject, those views resurface in my memory, and I paint what I selectively remember of them, with intrinsically personal modifications. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is the wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured in a hidden, wooden frame.
