This ready-to-hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a painterly depiction of a vintage truck parked outside of a home. Prominent colors: light blue, blue, gray, green. I am a mostly self-taught artist, living in a small picturesque town in Connecticut. From fields of sunflowers, spring trees in bloom, snowy landscapes, and places I travel, I can find inspiration anywhere. I also tend to be inspired by tractors, or my Dad’s first car, a 1929 Model A Ford, which I place in different landscapes. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is the wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured in a hidden, wooden frame.
