Norman Rockwell's long artistic relationship with the Boy Scouts of America began after he successfully illustrated the Boy Scout Hikebook in the fall of 1912 and lasted until 1976 with Rockwell producing their annual calendar illustrations. Many of the images depict the Scouts learning, teaching, or doing outdoor activities. Approved by the Norman Rockwell Family Agency.
