Consider shortening the leader 6 to 10 inches behind a dodger for kokanee and setting the trolling speed between 1.2 to 1.5 mph. Consider shortening the leader to 12-18 inches behind a flasher for trout and setting trolling speed between 1.5 to 2.0 mph.
