Description

This product is proudly handmade in the USA. Francis Scott Key and Colonel Skinner were aboard a British warship to obtain the release of Dr. Beans, an American who was a prisoner of the British. For security reasons they were not permitted aboard, but were transferred to another vessel under guard of British Marines. Francis Scott Key wrote of that glad moment, when, at early dawn September 14, 1814, he saw the flag atop distant Fort McHenry after bombardment from the British throughout the night of September 13th. Printed on antique parchment paper with a country black frame made of solid wood, it will add character to any room.
