The beauty of rattan is not only in its natural color, feel and looks, it is also in its characteristics. It grows for instance, in otherwise barren swamp areas and at an alarming rate of about 40 meters every year. We kept it uncolored, and therefore not only at its prettiest but also at its environmental friendliest. We choose to work with the slightly thicker Siewert rattan for more style. Our Mirror Siewert is handwoven from rattan. Unlike bamboo, rattan stems are solid and therefore easy to bend.
