Description
Tableau 3 with Orange-Red, Yellow, Black, Blue, and Gray was originally painted in 1921 by Piet Mondrian. This piece was part of the defining shift during Mondrian's career beginning in the 1920s. Limiting his palette to only white, black, gray in addition to the three primary colors, Mondrian created compositions of rectangles of color. This was the simplification of elements. The assortment of lines and blocks of color create a sense of rhythm that run across the canvas, echoing modern life. Today the original is housed in Kunstmuseum Basel, Basel, Switzerland. We have recreated the same colors and striking pattern originally depicted by Mondrian. The piece is a must for any fans of modern art and will add the perfect touch to any room.
