The Steel Forge Puff Jacket is a work-specific evolution on a proven design, built with an abrasion-resistant 2.6-oz Pertex® 94% nylon/6% polyester ripstop a DWR (durable water repellent) face, a 100% recycled polyester taffeta interior and insulated with 150-g Thermogreen® polyester (92% recycled). The hood cinches easily, even with icy fingers, and leaves no loose ends for hungry table saws. A soft tricot-lined chin guard prevents chafing when the steel forge zipper and button snap placket are done all the way up to keep out the cold. An inner left pocket keeps valuables safe and dry; two outer chest pockets hold tools and tech – the left pocket has a dedicated pencil holder and button snap closure with no flap and the right pocket has a flap with a button snap closure. Oversized hand-warmer pockets accommodate gloved hands, and the elastic cuffs serve the double duty of locking out cold and keeping material out of the way on the job.
