Description

From extended rides to being able to do multiple laps at our favorite downhill trails, We love the Santa Cruz Heckler for its ability to take us further and faster, boosting our ride experience. The Heckler recently saw some geometry improvements, making the chainstays longer, the head tube slacker, and the reach longer, all aiding in both downhill and uphill performance. With a slack 64. 8-degree head tube angle and a 76. 7-degree seat tube angle in the high setting, the Heckler allows us to shred the downhills while keeping us in an efficient position when climbing. The Shimano EP8 motor is more powerful and lighter than previous versions and features Eco, Trail, and boost modes so we can use the optimal amount of power for our terrain. A bigger 730Wh battery means we can extend our ride to the next peak without worrying about losing power or getting tired, and the battery is interchangeable, so we can take it out and plug in a fresh one. The CC 29 XX Eagle Transmission build of the Santa Cruz Heckler is top-tier and features some of the most advanced components on the market. This model of the Heckler is equipped with Santa Cruz's premium Carbon CC frame for the lightest weight and stiffest frame possible. This is the 29-version, meaning there are dual 29-inch wheels for holding speed and expertly maneuvering awkward rock stops. Santa Cruz fitted this version of the Heckler with SRAM's brand-new XX Eagle Transmission AXS drivetrain, providing us with the most precise and reliable electronic shifting on the market. Next, Reserve's carbon wheels and Industry Nine's Hydra hubs combine to make a top-quality wheelset that is durable, stiff, and lightweight. Maxxis tires provide reliable grip on the descents, and the rear DHR II tire features Double Down casing for extra flat protection. The RockShox Zeb Ultimate, 170mm fork, and RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock are adjustable, reliable, and allow us to plow through chunky trails without worry. *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
