Dreyfus did not take the lead until Chiron stopped to refuel - unaware that his rival did not need to stop. After 100 laps victory went to Dreyfus at an average of 53.635 mph. All 6 finishers drove Bugattis like the one featured on the famous poster by French illustrator Robert Falcucci that is reproduced on this collection.
