This aerial panorama of Daytona International Speedway was taken by James Blakeway and features a twilight view during a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The 480-acre motorsports complex, which opened in 1959, boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, featuring everything from NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to go-karts and superbikes. The speedway is also home to the "Great American Race" the DAYTONA 500. The 2.5-mile long tri-oval track features 31-degree banked turns and a huge infield area, where campers can be seen enjoying the many events.
