This aerial panoramic photograph of Sydney was taken by Bradley Field. It features downtown Sydney, the Sydney Opera House, and what many people consider the most beautiful harbor in the world. The Sydney Opera House is hailed as one of the architectural masterpieces of the modern era and is the result of an international design contest in 1956. It took nearly 17 years to complete and opened in 1973. On the right is the Sydney Harbor Bridge, which was completed in 1932. Centered in downtown is Centerpoint Tower, which was opened in 1981. The park at the left is the Royal Botanic Gardens.
