This aerial panorama of New York was taken by James Blakeway. Featured left of center in the background, is the area known as Midtown with New York’s most famous skyscraper, the Empire State Building at 103-stories tall. Moving clockwise, pictured in the center, is the area known as Lower Manhattan, home to One World Trade Center, with a pinnacle height of 1,776 feet, and Battery Park visible on the southern tip. Manhattan is flanked on the left by the Hudson River and on the right by the East River. Continuing to the far right, in the midground, is Governors Island.
