Description

A fig without a fiddle? Closely related to fiddle-leaf fig, Ficus Audrey (Ficus benghalensis) is a beautiful houseplant featuring large, deep green leaves with prominent veins and a slightly fuzzy texture you don't see on many ficus. Did you know it's the national tree of India? It's also known for being easier to care for than Ficus lyrata (fiddle-leaf fig). Outside in its natural habitat the tree is can grow 100 feet tall! Indoors, though, you needn't worry about it pushing your roof up, up, and away. With proper care, this plant can grow 6 feet tall, perhaps up to 10, making it an excellent choice for filling empty corners or adding welcome height to a room. With its striking foliage, Ficus Audrey will become a standout houseplant in your home or office. Ficus Audrey prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It should be watered when the top few inches of soil feel dry to the touch, but take care not to overwater as this can lead to root rot. Use a pebble tray or humidifier if your home humidity is low. You can feed with a houseplant food in spring. Altman Plants Ficus Benghalensis Banyan Tree House Plant in 6-in Pot | 0881606
