Florist favorite Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is a live succulent houseplant that features flowers in a range of bright colors among different varieties. Yours will arrive with a clay pot. The mass of adorable, long-lasting flower clusters shines over shiny, dark green leaves with scalloped edges. From yellow and white to red, coral and bright orange, the flower colors have a way of brightening one’s day, which makes sense for a flowering succulent known as flaming Katy. This plant does not require bright light to flower, which makes it an excellent addition as a houseplant or for an indoor dish garden or centerpiece. To get the plant to rebloom, give it a rest period of six to eight weeks of low light/darkness for 14 hours a day, little water, and no fertilizer.
