The tool's anti-vibration technology (AVT) works in a 3-part system to reduce the power of its blows on the user, with an integrated bolt spring, a vibration-absorbent housing and an air-actuated counterbalance to provide maximum comfort. Featuring an extremely high-powered design, this Makita SDS-Max rotary hammer drill makes use of a large 11-Amp motor to deliver 5.9 foot-pounds, or 11.4 joules, of force on every blow, allowing it to break through any concrete or masonry. The SDS-max hammer drill also features an LED service light to tell you about a dull bit in need of replacement.
