Story Behind the Art: The country of Tunisia is known for its abundance of beautiful olive trees. Yearly the older olive trees are harvested the wood is cut and dried. The wood is then sent to the workshop where our talented artisans craft the wood into beautiful pieces of art. The process for treating olivewood is long and arduous but it is completely natural.
