These bandages are ideal for blister care as well as the healing of minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, lacerations, and scalds. They are designed to form a protective barrier against bacteria and are fully waterproof. When you're ready to use your Advanced Healing Blister Care Cushion, first clean and dry the affected area before applying the bandage. Peel away the paper liner and place the bandage over the affected area. Keep the bandage over the area to be protected for as long as it remains in place. The bandage can stay in place for several days. The pad is designed to absorb small amounts of wound exudate, which might cause a white appearance. If leakage around the bandage should occur, change the bandage as needed. Remove the cushion by loosening its edge and gently pulling it sideways to release the seal. Do not reapply after removal. These bandages are made for single use only, and they are designed to fall off on their own. *Hydrocolloids have been shown to heal minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, lacerations, blisters, and scalds faster than a simple dry bandage. Do not use if you are allergic to dressing or any of its components, have fragile skin, or are diabetic with poor circulation. Avoid contact with eyes, other mucous membranes, or infected areas. If redness or swelling occurs or the blister condition persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use on children under 2 years of age. For deep cuts, puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns, consult a physician.
